1) Gymnasium
The 8,360 sq ft multi-use gymnasium with an 8’ wide walking track around the perimeter can be transformed into:
- 1 full-size basketball court
- 2 volleyball courts
- 3 pickleball courts
- 2 additional basketball courts (sideways)
- 38 (10’x10’) vendor booths
2) Fitness Room
Push-Pedal-Pull has provided an assessment of current fitness equipment and recommendations for new equipment. The fitness room (2,070 sq ft) layout is designed to accommodate their suggestions and will feature:
- Cubed lockers for personal belongings
- Water-filling station
- Floor-to-ceiling length windows on the south side for natural lighting and scenic views
3) Aerobics Room
The aerobics space (1,200 sq ft) will be flexible for group fitness classes and small dance groups. It will feature low natural-light windows for a quieter atmosphere while still allowing for ample lighting when needed. The area will have two access points for convenient entry based on other scheduled events.
4) Community Room
The Community room (1,430 sq ft) will provide a beautiful space for events such as benefits, birthday parties, family gatherings, fundraisers, graduation parties, receptions and showers. The community room will accommodate approximately 100 people.
5) Kitchen
The kitchen (850 sq ft) includes:
- 2 working islands
- 2 refrigerators
- 2 stoves
- 2 microwaves
- 2 sinks
- Storage space
- 2 serving windows for efficient access to community room and gymnasium
6) Parking
Parking was a top priority in the community survey. The new off-street parking lot will include:
- 76 designated parking spaces
- 2 entrances from Rulland Street
- Shaded parking along the east boulevard for summer events
- Retention of the existing walking path for convenient access
7) Security + Access
Key fob entry will ensure the safety of patrons using the Community Center. Electronic access allows for:
- Membership Management
- Restricted area access when needed
- 24/7 entry for approved members
